Joe is a founding partner of DT Capital Partners. As the former Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at DragonTech Ventures, Joe served as board of directors of several companies including MeMeStar, acquired by Sina (NASDAQ: SINA) in 2003 and became Sina Mobile. Prior to that, Joe was an investment consultant at Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan, mainly responsible for corporate finance and M&A in greater China. He also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and practiced 5 years of engineering consulting in the US.

Joe received an MBA degree from the Wharton School and Master and Bachelor degrees in engineering from Bradley University and Chongqing University respectively.

Joe was elected as “Top 10 Investment Manager” by Zero2IPO in 2003, “Top 50 Most Influential People in Mobile Game Industry” by DownJoy in 2006, “Top 10 Most Influential PE Investor” at the China Beijing International High-Tech Expo in 2007, "China's Top Ten Media Investors" at China Media Investment Annual Conference in 2008.
